ARTWORK

PAYMENT PLAN AVAILABLE?

Payment plans through Sezzle or Klarna are available for orders $150 or more. The payment plan option will be available during check out.

WHAT DOES "READY TO SHIP" MEAN?

When a painting is painted, dried, and ready to be shipped once purchased.

 

WHAT DOES "MADE TO ORDER" MEAN?

Made to order paintings will be recreated from the original SOLD painting. Each painting will be as close as possible to the original, yet unique as each brush stroke is impossible to repeat. Full payment is required upfront. 

 

HOW LONG DOES A "MADE TO ORDER" PAINTING TAKE?

On average, orders will take approximately 1-4 weeks to paint and dry from the date of purchase. Lead times vary and are determined by 1) the painting ~ level of detail, size, and required dry time and 2) my current schedule/orders.

 

CAN I CUSTOMIZE AN EXISTING PAINTING?

Yes! I love custom orders! Often, my collectors will love a very specific painting, but want a different size canvas or different colors, rhinestones, glitter, rivets, etc. If you find a painting in my shop that you love but want to customize it, please contact me to discuss the details and pricing before purchasing. I will need to gather all the details and confirm that I can create the piece you are envisioning.

Lead times will vary depending on my current schedule, which we will discuss. Once all the details are agreed upon, I will send you a private invoice. Full payment is required upfront. Photos of the finished artwork will be sent before shipment.

 

CAN I COMMISSION A PAINTING?

Yes! Please contact me if there is something specific you would like painted or you have a concept in mind. I will work with you to design a painting that meets your vision. Please note, that I do not always take on all request. I am always upfront and will communicate to you if I feel that I cannot paint your request.

COPYRIGHT INFORMATION: By commissioning a painting from me you are granting me permission to use your photos as inspiration.

SHIPPING

I WANT TO ORDER SEVERAL PAINTINGS, CAN YOU COMBINE SHIPPING?

Definitely! In most cases the combined shipping cost will calculated during checkout. However, for paintings with a 1.5" side profile - if purchasing more than two, please contact me prior to checkout so that I can configure the safest and most cost saving method to combine ship them together. Contact me with the exact paintings you are interested in (including the size of the canvases) and your city / zip code. I will get back to you as soon as possible with a shipping quote.

WHAT IF I ORDER A "READY TO SHIP" PAINTING AND A "MADE TO ORDER" PAINTING IN THE SAME TRANSACTION?

All paintings ordered in the same transaction will be combined shipped together. Therefore, if you purchase a painting that is already painted and "ready to be shipped", but you also purchase a "Made To Order" painting, then the shipping will automatically combine based on size and weight and will not be shipped out until the "Made To Order" painting has been painted and completely dry (1-4 weeks).

If you would prefer to receive your "Ready To Ship" painting sooner, please place two separate orders.

 

WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING COSTS?

Your shipping quote is calculated based on the size / quantity of artwork and your location. You may review your shipping costs during checkout before you place an order. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.

 

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Yes! Please contact me prior to purchasing, with the exact painting(s) and sizes(s) you are interested in purchasing AND your City and Zip Code. I will contact you to discuss the shipping cost before finalizing and shipping your order.  

Standard international shipping may not include additional duties and taxes that will be due to the carrier at time of delivery. This is dependent upon your countries customs process.

International Shipping can be costly, please know that you are not obligated to complete the purchase if you find the shipping cost are too high. I am always happy to provide quotes, please contact me at any time.

Always include your phone number during checkout as they are required for shipping labels and customs forms in case your local carrier needs to reach you upon arrival.

 

CAN I PICK UP MY ARTWORK?

If you are local to the metropolitan DC area, arrangements can be made to pick up your artwork in Reston, VA. Please contact me.

 

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SHIP?

Ready To Ship artwork will be shipped within 1-3 business days. You will be notified by email once it ships and you will receive a tracking number. Made To Order artwork will be shipped once your painting(s) are complete and dry. Lead time varies, approximately 1-4 weeks.

Shipping travel times vary according to your location, these are the estimated travel times for UPS Ground in the US:

Florida : 3-4 business days

US East Coast : 1-3 business days

Central US : 3-5 business days

US West Coast : 5-6 business days

Hawaii: 4-6 business days

Texas: 4-5 business days

International : 4-6 business days

WHAT SHIPPING & RUSH OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER?

The majority of my paintings are shipped by UPS within the US and Internationally. Occasionally USPS will be used for smaller paintings. 

Standard shipping by UPS Ground will only be available during the checkout process. If you need to receive your order any sooner, you may contact me for additional rush options (see below). Please include the exact need-by date and the ship to city and zip code, and I will provide you with the available options and cost.

HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

You will be notified by email once your artwork ships and you will receive a tracking number and estimated date of delivery.

 

DO I HAVE TO SIGN FOR MY PACKAGE?

Yes. In most cases, you will need to sign for your package to receive your order. However, if the courier feels that the delivery address is secure they will sometimes leave the package at your door. You may request that I remove the signature required, however you are then responsible for the safety of the package once left at the door.

 

HOW IS MY ARTWORK PACKED FOR SHIPPING?

It is always my goal to have your artwork delivered in perfect condition. I personally package each painting carefully to ensure its safe arrival.  Each painting is wrapped with a layer of kraft paper that protects the surface, and then it is wrapped with a layer of  bubble wrap. I firmly secure your artwork in a sturdy cardboard box with multiple "FRAGILE HANDLE WITH CARE" and "DO NOT LAY FLAT" stickers to guarantee safe arrival to its new home. My packages travel all over the world and with the assistance of my UPS team, we will make sure that your artwork is as secured as can be.

 

DO YOU SHIP TO P.O. BOXES?

No. Unfortunately all artwork must be shipped to a street address. 

 

CAN I SHIP TO A THIRD PARTY? CAN I INCLUDE A GIFT NOTE?

Yes, of course! You can select the recipient's delivery address when placing your order. If the artwork is a gift, please let me know so that I don't include a copy of the receipt. I can also include a personalized note with the package (simply type the gift note text in the comments box during checkout). If you already placed your order and need to change the shipping address or add a gift note please contact me with the information. I am more than happy to do so.

 

 WHAT IF MY ORDER IS DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING?

Damage during shipment would be an extraordinary circumstance and though rare, anything is of course possible. If your artwork is damaged in transit, please keep the packaging and its contents and contact me immediately.

When you receive your artwork, if the packaging looks crushed/damaged the best thing to do is to take photos of the packaging before you open it. Then carefully open and unwrap the artwork enclosed. If the artwork is damaged, please take multiple clear photos of the damage. This will be a huge help with filing a claim against the delivery company.

Please save the damaged box/packaging material. The delivery company will need to see the box and damaged painting to launch their investigation.

 

RETURNS

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

It's incredibly important to me that my clients are happy with their artwork.

If you need to return your artwork, please contact me within 3 days of receipt so I can arrange an exchange or refund for you minus the cost of shipping & packaging. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning the artwork.

All returns must be shipped back with a trackable shipping service and shipping insurance for the full value of the artwork.

In order to receive a full refund the artwork must be in undamaged condition and packaged carefully. If returned artwork is received in a condition other than new, the refund amount will be adjusted to reflect the condition by a minimum of 20% of the cost of each item.

 

CAN I RETURN A CUSTOM PIECE OF ART?

Please note, for all Made To Order and Commissioned paintings that only 50% of the painting cost may be refunded. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

 

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY REFUND?

Most refunds are fully refunded in 3-5 days after I receive and process your return. A credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

You may also choose to exchange your painting or receive store credit. No cash refunds.

 

WHAT IF MY REFUND IS LATE / MISSING?

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
